About
A multidisciplinary collective working across avant-garde electronic music, audiovisual experiences, and cultural practices that foster awareness, connection, and transformation in Southern Italy.
First and foremost, a cultural community.
Domus is a multidisciplinary collective focused on avant-garde electronic music, audiovisual experiences, and events that intertwine art, territory, and environmental protection. We imagine culture as a living, shared, and radically open space.
We operate in Southern Italy with the idea that art is not a form of consumption, but a vehicle for cultural elevation, sensitive transformation, and new ways of engaging with the present.
For us, electronic music is not just a genre, but an open language: a tool capable of connecting body, thought, landscape, technology, and imagination. Likewise, audiovisual practices become spaces of exploration, perception, and deep listening.
Through formats, concerts, listening sessions, installations, gatherings, and hybrid projects, we create moments where artistic research engages with the community and responds to the urgencies of the present.
We’re a collective forged in the underground. Over the past decade we’ve carved our own path far from the visible routes — making spaces in the dark, throwing parties and hosting gatherings often without warning, in an intentionally intimate, almost secretive dimension. It was never a strategy, but a necessity: defending an idea of electronic music that’s free, hypnotic, untamed by commercial imperatives. No compromises, no shortcuts — just exploration and a vision that keeps evolving without losing its edge.
From this urgency, concrete projects have grown. Ritmo Ecologico is a travelling event where music and collective action intertwine in environmental care: a walking soundpiece winding through neighbourhoods and coastlines, where clean-ups become moments of connection and awareness, and a shared rhythm binds participation and presence together. Our involvement in contexts like Bari Pride follows the same logic — music as a space of visibility, inclusion, and affirmation, accompanying significant collective moments in the city. Artistic research and civic presence, meeting organically.
Our Orientation
Our practice moves between artistic research, cultural responsibility, and ecological awareness. We aim to create contexts in which experience, knowledge, and presence can become part of the same rhythm.
Musica d’avanguardia
We support sonic practices that explore the margins, complexity, and the tension between listening, club culture, and experimentation.
Audiovisual experiences
We work with immersive and performative setups in which image, space, and sound create a sensitive relationship with the audience.
Ritmo ecologico
For us, environmental protection is not a secondary theme, but a concrete cultural practice: a way of thinking about events, communities, and territory
We believe that in Southern Italy there exists a powerful cultural potential, still to be intensified, connected, and made visible. Domus also emerges from this: from the desire to build sensitive infrastructures, networks, opportunities for encounter, and spaces where art can act not as passive entertainment, but as activation, critical thought, belonging, and a shared future.
