Paradisi Artificiali
VA – Paradisi Artificiali brings together four distinct sound compositions, each resisting the urge to resemble the others but united by the way they manipulate perception. Polygonia crafts shifting rhythmic paths where the groove warps and regenerates in real time, maintaining an organic tension that keeps the body in motion without ever truly settling into place. Feral operates through subtraction, slowing time and excavating sound’s spatial depth. Its tracks don’t progress so much as they envelop, drawing the listener inward into a layered, introspective space. Agonis introduces a more unstable, sensory thread, weaving transitions and accumulations that build in stages. Frequencies become tangible matter, and the progression unfolds without ever erupting entirely. Crossing Avenue weaves these directions together without hardening them, infusing the record with a more rooted, almost ancestral rhythmic element that surfaces in the structure of the patterns and the choice of timbre.
The result isn’t a neat synthesis, but a coexistence. The tracks unfold along a shared line without ever converging, articulating a dynamic balance between tension and release. It’s an album that works through gradual alterations, through subtle slippages in perception, as in “Les Paradis Artificiels”. The point isn’t escape, but intensification. The sound burrows deep, reshaping how things are experienced, until a denser, more ambiguous, more alive reality emerges.
The Collective
We’re a collective forged in the underground, and over the past decade, we’ve carved our own path far from the well-trodden routes, the easy routes, the visible ones. We’ve made our spaces in the dark, throwing parties, hosting gatherings, and creating moments often without warning, with unexpected guests, in an intentionally intimate, almost secretive dimension. It was never a strategy, but a necessity: defending an idea of electronic music that’s free, hypnotic, untamed by commercial imperatives. Everything we do grows from real relationships, from friendships, from a shared urgency. To us, music isn’t entertainment; it’s a profound experience, a language that demands time, attention, and dedication. Over the years, we’ve stayed true to this, even when it meant operating on the fringes, slowly building a community that recognises and shares this approach. No compromises, no shortcuts: just exploration, presence, and a vision that keeps evolving without losing its edge.
This is how projects like Ritmo Ecologico came to life, a traveling event where music, movement, and collective action intertwine in environmental care practices. A walking soundpiece wends its way through neighbourhoods and coastlines, drawing citizens and passers-by into a shared act where clean-ups become moments of connection and awareness. The music accompanies and amplifies the experience, forging a shared rhythm that binds participation and presence together. Similarly, our involvement in contexts like Bari Pride emerges as a natural extension of this journey. Here, music becomes a space of visibility, inclusion, and affirmation, capable of accompanying and supporting significant collective moments in the city. This way of working holds artistic research and present-day awareness together, crafting experiences where aesthetic dimension and civic participation meet organically.
